The spring season is here across the state, and starts with indoor meets for the Pella track and field teams at the University of Northern Iowa and Iowa State University.

Today, the Pella boys kick off that busy week in Cedar Falls, with the girls to follow on Tuesday at the 2025 Dickinson Relays. The Dutch boys fought hard for a 3rd place team finish last spring at Drake Stadium, and are led by key returners Canaan Dunham, Bailey Shetterly, Harrison Mullens, and Mason Gaulke as those who scored points in events at the state meet.

The Dutch girls are paced by two-time individual state champion Marissa Ferebee, and several members of the 2024 state champion cross country team.

Later this week, the Iowa Track and Field Coaches Association meet will be held in Ames.
