While it certainly felt more like it was a state qualifying meet outside, the journey to that date started indoors in Cedar Falls for the Pella boys track and field program on Monday. No team scores are kept at the annual Dickinson Relays at the UNI Dome, an event that features well over 100 Iowa high schools from all four classes over two days, continuing today with the girls.

The Dutch featured several strong starts, including top 20 finishes from:
800 meters – Canaan Dunham – 2nd (1:56.7)
3200 meters – Mason Gaulke – 6th (9:48.94); Noah Schuknecht – 17th (10:20.29)
High Jump – Logan VanDenBroek – 5th (6-0)
Long Jump – Owen Kettler – 10th (21-00.75); Emmanuel Diers – 11th (21′)
Boys 4×800 – 8th (Browne, Browne, Schiebout, Dunham) – 8:39.35
Boys 4×400 – 17th (Thompson, Van Hauen, Ligman, Rhamy) – 3:43.4
