Norwalk freshman Braylyn Birmingham and senior Bailey Birmingham were named to another all-state girls basketball list on Tuesday, this time recognized by the Iowa Print Sports Writers Association.

Braylyn was one of eight players selected to the Class 4A First Team and Bailey made the 4A Second Team. On Monday, both players were named first team all-staters by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association. The Birmingham sisters helped the Warriors reach the semifinal round of the 4A State Tournament and finish 23-2 overall. The team shared this year’s Little Hawkeye Conference championship with Dallas Center-Grimes.

The IPSWA named Cedar Rapids Xavier senior Libby Fandel as this year’s Miss Iowa Basketball.
