Pella Christian senior Chloe Huisman signed her national letter of intent to continue her academic and volleyball careers at Dordt University on Monday.
A four-year starter at setter for the Eagles, Huisman played in all 153 matches during her high school career. During her time at Pella Christian, Chloe posted 2,759 assists, 900 digs, 362 kills, 209 aces, and 88 blocks. Huisman’s 2,759 assists made her the program’s all-time leader in career assists, and made her the only player in school history to eclipse 2,000. In addition to etching her name into the record books on Eagle Lane, Chloe was a three-time Class 2A Central All-District honoree and a three-time Class 2A All-State selection, being named to the third team twice and the fourth team once.
Over the course of Huisman’s volleyball career at Pella Christian, the Eagles had an 85-68 overall record, including two 20-win seasons. Pella Christian went 25-15 in 2022 and 24-12 this season, recording the program’s first two 20-win seasons since the Eagles went 20-18 in 2018.
