The Pella girls track and field team has high expectations for what could be at the end destination at Drake Stadium in May, and that journey started indoors at the Dickinson Relays at UNI Tuesday.
Minus two-time state track and field champion Marissa Ferebee, the rest of the Dutch roster showed flashes of the depth of the team in the large field of schools at the opening meet of the spring season.
Pella featured top 20 finishes from:
400 Meters – Lizzie Neumann, 5th (1:00.77)
1500 Meters – Raegan Snieder, 14th (5:10.14); Ruth Dunham (5:15.45)
4×400 Meters – Barnes, Schiebout, VandeVoort, Neumann (4:09.00)
The boys and girls are back in action at Iowa State University this week for the 2025 Iowa Track and Field Coaches Association meet.
