The Indianola girls track and field team placed 3rd at the IATC Indoor Championships Friday at Iowa State University, scoring 61 team points.

The Indians once again had multiple top finishes including Jordyn Brown placing 3rd in the 1500m and crossing the Drake Blue Standard to qualify for the Drake Relays, with Brown also finishing in 2nd in the 3000m. Other top finishes included Josie McGraw placing 2nd in the 60m Hurdles, Emma White placing second in the 400m, Sam Gripp and Katie Kluver placing 3rd and 5th respectively in the Shot Put, and the Sprint Medley and Shuttle Hurdle relay teams placing 3rd.

The Indians will enjoy some time off before their next competition, March 25th at Simpson College.
