The Norwalk girls competed with a partial squad at Friday’s IATC Indoor Track and Field Championships held inside Iowa State University’s Lied Recreation Center. The Warriors scored two points and finished 25th in Class 4A.

Norwalk’s shuttle hurdle relay placed seventh with a time of 42.02 seconds. Team members were Jillian Hammond, Kaia Stoulil, Kinsley Stumbaugh and Leah Crick. The Warriors also finished 13th in the sprint medley relay and 16th in the 4×100 relay.

Nyah Hulbert recorded the top individual finishes, placing 17th in the 60-meter dash and 21st in the 200. Crick and Hammond finished 22nd and 24th, respectively, in the 60-meter hurdles.

Norwalk’s next scheduled meet is Tuesday, March 25, at Simpson College.
