The Indy Throws boys and girls track and field program, the shot put and discus throwers, had a banner year last year. The Indians sent to the state meet Owen Cambron and Aiden Curtis in the discus on the boys side, as well as Ava Tichy and Abbie Kluver on the girls side, all with top 15 finishes. In the shot put, the girls qualified Sam Gripp and Katie Kluver, with Lathan McDaniel and Charlie Radosevich representing the boys, all with top 17 finishes. Eight different Indianola throwers competed at state, all of whom are returning for this season.
