The Indianola Noon Lions, in partnership with the Indianola Community School District and other local partners, delivered over 3,000 boxes of cereal to the Helping Hand of Warren County earlier this week. John Akers with the Indianola Noon Lions tells KNIA News the Helping Hand is often short on breakfast food and kids eating a full breakfast helps them in school throughout the day, and this was a partnership between local entities to help those in need during these difficult times.
The cereal was lined up in the Indianola Middle School gymnasium and toppled over as dominos last week. Find more information about the project below.
