Seven Indianola music students participated in the Drake University Honor Orchestra Festival earlier this year. Ella Jack on violin, Morgan Jenkins on cello, Elyse Bierman on cello, Simon Gilfanov on bass, Calvin Schettler on bass, and Kathryn Hanika on bass performed with the Honors Orchestra, while Kaelee Holter on viola performed with the Festival Orchestra. Schettler also represented Indianola at the Zenith Virtuosi Young Artist Festival at Drake over the last several months.

The festival included hundreds of students from across central Iowa.
