The Indianola Community Youth Foundation is partnering with MyHeartCheck and Strive for Life to provide youth heart screenings later this year. MyHeartCheck will provide heart screenings to kids ages 8-21, and 1 in 100 kids are born with a potentially life threatening heart defect, and can potentially not be found during a regular well visit or a sports physical.
