The Indianola Community School District is holding the first of several public hearings on the proposed FY26 budget this week, with the proposed rate going slightly down from FY25.

The rate for FY26 is proposed at 17.70059 per $1,000 of valuation, down from 17.94003 per $1,000 of valuation. The board will have a special Budget Hearing taking place tomorrow at 7am. See the property tax proposal below.
