The Knoxville Chamber of Commerce will hold an open house and ribbon cutting today for Pierschbacher Funeral Home.

The event will start at 5:30 pm at 309 W Main St. in Knoxville. This is a way to come explore this new facility, meet the Pierschbacher team, and take part in a cocktail hour and dinner following the ceremony. Pierschbacher purchased Knoxville’s Williams Funeral Home in October of 2023 and the Winfield Funeral Home in March of 2023, and merged the two businesses into the facility at the site of the former Knoxville Administration Building.

The 16,000 square-foot facility will serve as a funeral home, and have enough space to hold larger funerals, memorials, celebrations of life, and events. The new facility will have a large chapel and reception area, celebration place or meeting room for events, a kitchen, and offices.
