The Indianola boys tennis team had their season opener on Friday defeating SE Polk, while the boys and girls soccer teams were both in action.

The boys tennis squad took down SE Polk 6-5. Getting wins in singles included Bryson Rehmeier, Eli Chadwick, and Blake Byers, then the doubles pairings of Rehmeier/Chadwick, Zach Rothchild/Byers, and Reid Jackson and Tate Dales earned wins to get to the win.

The Indians boys led 1-0 but gave up back to back goals to the Southeast Polk Rams to trail 2-1 at halftime.
