The Pella Public Library will continue their “Learn to Play” nights on Monday, featuring the game Ticket to Ride from the library’s growing board game collection. Mike Smith will lead the game night, starting with an introduction to the game and how to play. During the game, players collect train cards, which help them connect cities on railway routes across North America. Points are accumulated by the length of a player’s routes, and additional points can be gained for different tasks in the game. Multiple sets of the game will be available for groups to play for as long as time allows. Online registration is suggested for planning purposes, and can be done by visiting the link here. The program will take place in the library’s Meeting Room at 6 pm and is free and open to ages 12 and older.
