One day after competing against the No. 1 team in Class 3A, the #5 in 2A Pella girls soccer team fell to #2 in 3A Valley on Saturday in a 2-0 match. Pella went back-to-back days with the preseason favorites to win the biggest class in Iowa’s state title, falling 3-1 to the hosting Ankeny Hawks on Friday. Pella falls to 1-2 overall and is next in action on Tuesday at Oskaloosa.
