The Knoxville City Council will meet in two sessions tonight.

The first meeting will be a special session for a public hearing for the proposed property tax levies for the FY26 budget.  In the regular session to follow there will be a mayoral reading of a National Library Week proclamation, a discussion regarding ambulance billing, a public hearing to approve residential zoning changes, and five action items regarding amending of city ordinances. The meeting will conclude with the council discussing an affiliation agreement with the Jefferson County Ambulance Service EMS Academy, and a public safety computer purchase. 

Tonight’s special session will start at 5:30 pm with the regular session to follow at City Hall.
