Weiler CEO and President Pat Weiler discusses the history of Weiler as a company and their 25 year milestone on today’s Let’s Talk Knoxville.

The manufacturing company that specializes in road paver production started with just five employees in 2000 and has expanded over the last 25 years into a company and facility that is a staple in the Knoxville community. In the two part segment that will air today and Tuesday, Weiler discusses the history of the company, charitable giving, employees, continued growth, and a look ahead to the future. Weiler has poured back into the Knoxville community in countless ways over the years through charitable giving and has supported many projects and community initiatives. Weiler also continues to grow in many ways as a company and Pat tells KNIA/KRLS that the growth is a testament to their employees.

“We took a risk starting this and if it didn’t work out we’d be fine. To see it grow what it has basically because of the employees we have is really fun to watch. Where it’s going from here I would say it’s going to keep doing it. It will depend on how many people Marion County can bring into Marion County. If we keep growing we are going to need more people here and it’s unrealistic to expect people to drive 2-3 hours so what it boils down to is if we are going to keep adding people here we are going to have to keep having people move here.”
