The Indianola tennis teams were in action in a pair of triangular meets on Monday and the boys soccer team had a big matchup with a non-conference rival, in addition to the Indianola girls golf team hitting the links for the first time in 2025.

The Indianola girls golf team took down Des Moines Roosevelt shooting a 181 to start the season, winning by six strokes at the Indianola Golf Club. Cam Overton picked up right where 2024 left off leading the team with a 42, while Reese Lucas shot a 45 and Anna Blanchard a 46. The Indians next hit the links on Monday at Briarwood Golf Course in Ankeny.

The Indianola boys tennis team fell to both Urbandale and DM Lincoln at the Indianola Tennis Complex 7-4. Getting wins against Urbandale included Eli Chadwick and Reid Jackson in singles play, and the doubles teams of Zach Rothchild/Owen Nelson and Jack Brown/Karter Larsen, while Blake Allen and Tate Dales earned wins in singles play against Lincoln and the doubles pairings of Brown/Larsen and Andrew Little/Owen Nelson also won.

The Indianola girls tennis team split their triangular, taking down Lincoln 6-5 and falling to Urbandale 8-3. Individual results will be posted as they become available.

The Indianola boys soccer team matched up with state tournament foe from 2024 at Des Moines Hoover, falling 2-1. The Indians fell behind early 1-0, got a goal from Van Kauffman to tie the score, but fell on a late penalty kick converted by the Huskies. The Indians are now 1-2 on the season, and host Ankeny on Thursday.
