
The Knoxville City Council met in a special and regular session on Monday night.
The special session was a public hearing for the FY26 property tax levies which will not be increasing for the city. In the regular session the council heard a mayoral reading of a National Library Week Proclamation, heard a statement from a citizen regarding ambulance billing, held a public hearing and approved five different code of ordinance amendments, approved an affiliation agreement with the Jefferson County Ambulance Service EMS Academy, and a Public Safety Solutions computer purchase.
