It was a victorious Tuesday for the three spring sports teams in action from Pella High School.

The #5 in 2A Dutch girls soccer team defeated Oskaloosa 8-0 at the Lacey Sports Complex. Lizzie Neumann and Sarah Hardman scored two goals each and Bri Shannon, Lauren Mace, Maelee Solomon, and Avary Hunsinger also added tallies. Pella improves to 2-2 and next heads to Bondurant-Farrar on Thursday.

Pella’s boys soccer team earned a third consecutive win to start the 2025 season with a 3-1 victory at home over Oskaloosa. Hank Duffy and Beckett Mathes (assisted by Caleb Kalkwarf) scored in the first half, and Tyson Barnes capped off the final tally in the 64th minute. The undefeated Dutch head to Carlisle on Friday.

The defending championship Pella girls tennis team knocked off its first conference win of 2025 with a 10-1 victory over Dallas Center-Grimes at home. The Dutch girls are back at home against Norwalk on Thursday.
