A property tax reform bill is currently under consideration by the Iowa Legislature, with the initial proposal implementing a revenue restriction, providing a homestead benefit, and freezing property tax freeze for certain seniors among other actions. State Representative Brooke Boden tells KNIA News she is looking for feedback from constituents on the property tax reform.
“I’ve added a survey in which I want to hear from the community on what they believe is most important for them, any ideas or suggestions are welcome on that survey. That would help to guide us in making sure that we are really hitting in the place that each one of our constituents across the state needs to see that relief.”
