100+ Men Red Rock presented a $3,450 check to the Pleasantville Youth Initiative on Wednesday.

The funds from the donation will be used for the Youth Initiative’s building project, which will allow them to serve the Pleasantville community by meeting basic needs, teaching life skills, and connecting people with resources. The donation from 100+ Men Red Rock was the second to the Pleasantville Youth Initiative, with the first serving as the catalyst for their initial fundraising efforts. Jennie Koenig with the Youth Initiative said that they are looking forward to the demolition and construction of their new building, which will begin on April 28th.

“We’re really excited about the building project, because we already do a lot of service in the community, and we don’t have a building to do that out of. We advocate for teens, we throw events, we help meet needs, there’s a lot of different things we do, and people can see our 2024 year review on our website pvilleyi.org, but we are ready to do even more. With this building project, we’ll be able to do classes and meet more specific needs, throw events, bring in speakers, all kinds of different things for the community, so we’re super excited about it.”
