Senior Eli Feekin surprassed 100 career strikeouts but the Simpson College baseball team was unable to generate offense in its series finale against No. 22 Coe, falling 5-0.
The Kohawks (18-5, 8-2 A-R-C) utilized a pair of singles in the third for a 1-0 lead and put the game away with a four-run fifth highlighted by a bases-clearing double from Ryan Thoreson.
The Storm (9-14, 3-6 A-R-C) struggled to find their rhythm at the plate, managing just three hits and stranding eight runners on base.
