The Melcher-Dallas Girls Track and Field Squad placed 8th while the boys were 10th at the Centerville Relays on Thursday. Gabby Overgaard got the lone gold medal with a toss of 34 feet eight inches in the shot put. She was also 3rd in the dicuss with a throw of 96 feet one inch. 3rd place performances also went to Trista Hansaker in both the 100 with a time of :13.09 and the 200 in a time of :22.56. The boys were 10th overall in the team standings as Austin Remster had the best finish with a 6th in the 110 high hurdles in a time of :19.12.
