Pella Historical Museums is gearing up for the tulip season with two upcoming events ahead of the 90th annual Tulip Time celebration.
Executive Director Jessi Galligan says the non-profit group celebrating Pella’s heritage is hosting King’s Day on Saturday, April 26th, beginning at 10 a.m. The day will include the King’s Day Market at the Scholte Gardens.
That event will be held in conjunction with city tours on both this weekend and during the King’s Day festivities next week. The paid rides take participants throughout the community and highlight several features, which will come this year during the annual spring bloom of 300,000 tulips.
