The Knoxville Raceway will kick-off their 2025 season next weekend.
This year’s season will open with a practice night on Thursday and then a two-day World of Outlaws show on Friday and Saturday. Knoxville Raceway will have weekly shows on Saturday nights that run until mid-August, but other major dates on this year’s calendar include the last weekend in May for the USAC Nationals which coincides with Hall of Fame weekend for the race track, a two-day World of Outlaws show on June 13th and 14th, The 360 Knoxville Nationals July 31st – August 2nd, the Capitiani Classic on August 3rd, the 410 Knoxville Nationals August 6-9, and the Late Model Nationals on September 18-20.
The Raceway has also implemented a clear bag policy for this season and moving forward which will require guests only be allowed one bag that is clear in plastic, vinyl or PVC and does not exceed 14”x19”x6” which also includes backpacks. More information regarding the policy and this year’s schedule can be found here. Knoxville Raceway General Manager Jason Reed hopes everyone can come out to check out the action this race season.
“I encourage everyone to come out. If you’ve never been here we’re more than happy to help you out. Look any of my team up to answer any questions you may have. We’re trying to increase our signage and make it more user friendly to the newer people that aren’t normally here. If you haven’t been here in a long time I think it’s a great time to come back. It really is the track that everyone in the country talks about, in small town southern Iowa Knoxville. Anything involved in sprint car racing, this is like the Holy Grail.”
