Girls Tennis Breezes By Nevada 8-1

Girls tennis remained unbeaten the season with an eight/one victory over Nevada at the Joel Tonda Tennis Courts. The Panthers clinched the match winning five of six singles matches including Janie Maasdam at #1, Iselynn Prevo at #2, Marlea Cox at #3, Bridgette Liston at #4 and Addy Dunkin at #5. Knoxville swept the doubles round 3-0. For the boys, the Panthers ran into a tough Indianola team falling 9-0. Girls tennis is back at it hosting Grinnell today, while the boys will host Clarke on Thursday.

Panther Boys Soccer Upends Pella Christian, Girls Fall To Grandview Christian

It was a split for the Knoxville Soccer Squads on Monday as the boys traveled to Eagle Lane at Pella Christian and took the match 4-1. Kaison Wilder, Brett Watters, and Max Magana on a free kick, plus an own goal added up to the four Panthers tallies. Wilder had two assists and Rylan Robinson assisted on one goal. Carson Cecil had five saves. The girls fell 12-2 to Grandview Christian. Remy Vasquez-Smith had both of Knoxville’s goals in the 2nd half, and Addi Williams came up with 16 saves. The boys travel to Des Moines Christian tonight, while girls are off until next Monday when they host Central Iowa United.

Caelie Smith Medallist At Chariton Triangular

The Knoxville Girls Golf Squad took two players to a triangular at Chariton on Monday, but had success as Caelie Smith was medallist with a 46 and Brilynn McMillen carded at 63. The Panthers get back on the links today with their first 18 hole meet of the season at Centerville.
