The Pella City Council will consider multiple resolutions and hold a public hearing to consider a contract for a proposed indoor recreation facility at their meeting this evening.

If approved, the city will construct an approximately $30 million facility north of the Pella Sports Park. All bids for the project came in under engineer’s estimates. Read more here.

In addition to the rec center agenda items, the council will also review resolutions to accept a final contract related to electric underground conversion on Idaho Drive and to schedule a public hearing to considering bids for improvements to the current city soccer complex. A public hearing is also scheduled to finalize the fiscal year 2025-26 budget.
