The performance line-up for this year’s free Maytag Bowl Summer Concert Series in Newton will continue to feature local and regional musicians and singers. The concerts in Maytag Park occur each Thursday evening at 7 p.m. from May 29th to July 31st. The Newton City Band will perform four times, including opening night May 29th, June 12th and 26th, and July 3rd. Bands from Newton and Des Moines fill out the rest of the schedule.
