Streetlight maintenance on the downtown Indianola square and surrounding area will begin on Monday. The current paint is peeling due to a manufacturer issue during production, and to correct the issue the poles will be stripped and repainted. Contractors will be working from 7am to 7pm daily until the work is completed, and “No Parking” signs will be posted near the poles being worked on and will shift as the poles are completed.
