Girls Golf Team Victorious at Home Against Oskaloosa
The Pella Girls Golf Team won a dual meet with Oskaloosa on Thursday night. The Dutch shot a 189 as a team and leading scores were Medalist Emerson Lee with a 45, Runner-Up Medalist Carlyn Henry with a 47, Peyton Roose (48), and Harper Phillips (49).

Track and Field Girls Dominant at Panther Relays
Without some of their state and Drake Relays mainstays competing, the Pella girls track and field team dominated the field at the Panther Relays Thursday. The Dutch scored 229 points to win the event. First place finishes for Pella include:

Mullens, Dunham Add More Blue Standards as Dutch Boys Show Strength at Waukee Relays
Pella’s boys showcased strength at Waukee, placing second overall at the event Thursday. The Dutch had several strong finishes, highlighted by another Drake Relays Blue Standard by Harrison Mullens when he shattered the previous school record held by Karl Miller in the 400 meters (48.94). Canaan Dunham also broke the Blue Standard in the 800 meters to earn his third automatic bid to the Drake Relays in a career best time (1:53.46). Other event wins for Pella included:

Gilbert Narrowly Defeats Dutch in Ranked Matchup
Despite getting the early jump in a ranked showdown, the #8 in 2A Pella girls soccer team fell to #8 in 1A Gilbert 2-1 at Pella High School Thursday. Claire Smock scored on a penalty kick to give the Dutch a 1-0 lead in the 16th minute, but the Tigers were able to counter late in the first half. Gilbert scored again after several chances on Pella’s half of the field. The Dutch fall to 2-4 overall and head to #1 in 2A Waverly-Shell-Rock on Saturday.
