First place in the American Rivers Conference standings is on the line this afternoon as the Simpson Softball team hosts Wartburg for a doubleheader.
The Knights are currently in first place in the ARC standings with a 7-1 record only falling to Dubuque, Simpson is currently in second place with an 8-2 record dropping a contest to Dubuque and Nebraska Wesleyan. Simpson is on a seven-game conference winning streak, scoring an average of over 10 runs per game during that stretch.
The games will be broadcast live on 94.3 KNIA and Simpsonathletics.com, with Andrew Swadner on the play-by-play. Pregame coverage begins at 12:45, with first pitch scheduled for 1pm.
