Knoxville Cup Series Driver driver and back to back Knoxville Nationals winner Kyle Larson is featured on Today’s Lely Radio Sports Page.
Larson visited Iowa Speedway on Friday to promote the track as he spent time in Knoxville last weekend competing at Knoxville Raceway Saturday night. Larson also was a part of the grand opening for the Dennis Albaugh Suite Tower on Thursday as he got to take a look at his very own suite in the new tower. Larson is no stranger to Knoxville Raceway as he has spent a significant amount of time racing there in his career and has won three out of the last four Knoxville Nationals. Despite all the success Larson has found as a racer in his career even now at the NASCAR stage, he tells KNIA/KRLS that he still loves spending time in Knoxville. Larson says he especially loves spending a full week in Knoxville with his family the week of Nationals.
“Being in one spot for a week is nice. Seeing a lot of your friends and pretty much all of your friends are here during Nationals. Even fans you see once a year, or fans from across the world, all of that. It’s just a fun week of getting to hang out and enjoy it but also being competitive and racing hard for a huge win.”
