Two Indianola High School students will represent Indianola DECA at the national competition in Orlando today, as Maci Darr and Nick Fehl both advanced past the state competition held earlier this spring. Darr will be competing in the five-year business growth plan, and Fehl in individual sports entertainment marketing.

Darr served as a state officer for Iowa DECA, and she tells KNIA News it was an unforgettable opportunity.

“It’s an experience I definitely will never be able to have again. Getting to meet people from all over the United States, going to conferences with the state officer team, and getting to know more people inside Indianola’s DECA community better and across the state of Iowa.”
