On an outstanding weather day and evening, Knoxville teams found success in their events on Tuesday.

Girls Track 6th At Chariton

Girls track and field finished 6th at the Chariton Invitational in class A. The Panthers were led by runner-up finishes by Avery Pelong in the shot put with a toss of 30 feet ten inches and the 4×800 team of Hannah Dunkin, Naomi Bacon, Abi Vanderlinden, and Serenity Turner with a time of 10:48.06. Third place medals went to Siena Scott in the 100 hurdles with a time of :17.65 and Payton Kearney in the high jump with a mark of four feet six inches.

Girls Golf Ties For 3rd With Season Low Score

Knoxville girls golf finished in a tie for 3rd place shooting a season low 221 with Albia at the Pella Quad on Tuesday. Caelie Smith led the Panthers with a runner-up finish shooting a 43. Boys Soccer Pulls Away From Albia To Sweep Season Series

The Knoxville Boys Soccer Squad allowed an early goal from Albia, but outscored the Blue Demons the rest of the way 5-1 to post a 5-2 victory and sweep the season series. Ezra Schmidt, Cael Watters, Kaison Wilder on a penalty kick and two from Jensen Finnegan added up to the five scores. Knoxville is now 6-1-3 and hosts Bondurant-Farrar on Friday.
