The Pella Opera House will offer a wide range of shows during Tulip Time in Pella. 

Events that will be held daily at the Opera House from Thursday through Saturday include The Reluctant Pioneer at 10 am, the Martini Huis from 1:30-7:30 pm, and a historic photo display in the Great Hall from 1-5:30 pm. Other programs during Tulip Time will include Brad and Kate Thursday and Friday at 4:30 pm, Tiptoe Thru the Tulips on the Barton Theatre Organ with Kent Jager on Saturday at 11 am, and the Pella High School Choral Showcase on Saturday at 4:30 pm. Executive Director Cyndi Atkins says that their programs provide an opportunity for visitors to take a break from sightseeing and enjoy all that they have to offer.

“The Opera House will be open from 9:30 am to 7:30 pm every day of Tulip Time with lots of wonderful activities going on. I always like to mention the hours are open because if it’s hot outside, we’ve got a new chiller here in the Opera House, so they can come on in and get cool for a little bit, or if it’s raining they can stop in to get out of the rain. There’s just lots of things going on and lots of places that people can enjoy a few moments.”
