The annual coronation ceremony of the Tulip Queen is set to kickoff festivities to the 90th annual Tulip Time celebration. Addison Bandstra will receive her crown following remarks from the 2024 Tulip Queen Mia Andringa during the afternoon grandstand show that begins at 1:00 this afternoon.

Pella City Tours will begin at 8:30 in the morning both today and Friday, and many of the activities related to the celebration begin at 9 a.m.

Pella Police Captain Paul Haase reminds residents that most downtown roads are closed and that traffic throughout the community will be slower.
