A few rounds of rain didn’t slow the crowds or the festivities all too much as the 90th annual Tulip Time kicked off Thursday in Pella.

While a wet morning knocked out some outdoor entertainment, both parades went on as scheduled and 2025 Tulip Queen Addison Bandstra was crowned on the Tulip Toren.
