
Warren County Health Services wants to remind parents to be aware of their child’s water intake during athletic competitions and practice, especially over the summer. It is recommended for every 20 minutes of play, a young athlete should drink about 10 gulps of water which is equal to approximately ½ an ounce, and a teen athlete should drink 20 gulps of water to stay hydrated.
