A special visitor took part in the Friday afternoon parade and in other Tulip Time-related festivities.

Birgitta Tazelaar is the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the United States of America.

During her visit, the ambassador met with local industry and city leaders, and also met the two most recent Tulip Queens Addison Bandstra and Mia Andringa, as well as the 2025 Royal Court.

This was a return trip to Pella for Ambassador Tazelaar, who was in the Tulip City last summer.
