An Indianola pilot was uninjured in a plane crash in Dallas County Sunday evening. According to a press release by the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, emergency services responded to a small ultralight airplane that crashed at Husband Field Airport in Dallas Center while attempting to land, piloted by Jerald Deimerly of Indianola. Deimerly was uninjured in the crash, and the cause of the incident is being investigated by the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration.

Responding crews included the Adel Police Department, Adel Fire Department, and Dallas County EMS.
