Boys Soccer Dominates Chariton In Return Match
Boys Soccer got full and complete revenge on Chariton after playing to a tie just over two weeks ago with a dominating 4-0 win at Randy Wilson Track. The Panthers scored with four different players starting with Ezra Schmidt on a penalty kick with 14:57 left in the 1st half, then Kaison Wilder added a goal with 5:06 remaining in the 1st half to give Knoxville a commanding 2-0 lead at halftime. The Panthers did not let up in the 2nd half when Joseph Finnegan got on the board with 31:10 remaining and Cael Watters completed the scoring with 17:20 left. Carson Cecil and Riley Sailors both saw one shot each in goal and Coach Dylan Mick told KNIA/KRLS Sports it was the most complete match his team has played this season. Knoxville is now 8-1-3 and will travel to Centerville on Thursday.
Girls Golf 3rd At Home Quad
The Knoxville Girls Golf Squad finished third in a quad meet at Pine Knolls Country Club on Monday. The Panthers shot a 258 and Caelie Smith had a 52 for 9th place overall while Abbie Keitges finished 15th with a 59.
Boys Tennis 4th At Conference Meet
The South Central Conference Boys Tennis Meet was Monday and Knoxville placed 4th at the Joel Tonda Tennis Courts. The Panthers got place winners in doubles with Ethan Russell and Jimmy McCormick placing 5th while Ezra Schmidt and Jude Zuck teamed up to finish 6th.
