The Melcher-Dallas Girls Track and Field Squad placed 3rd while the boys were 5th at the Bluegrass Conference meet in Lamoni on Tuesday. The girls were led by Trista Hansaker who was conference champion in both the 100 with a time of :13.20 and the 200 with a time of :27.48. Gabby Overgaard won the shot put with a throw of 34 feet eight inches. The boys took first place from the shuttle hurdle team of Reece Chiabotta, Colby Schrader, Eric Kirkpatrick, and Austin Remster in a time of 1:14.74. Both Melcher-Dallas teams are back on the track at Mount Ayr on Thursday.
