A new Knoxville sign has been installed on Pleasant Street to welcome everyone to Knoxville from the west.

The funding for this sign was made possible through revenue earned at RAGBRAI’s overnight stop in Knoxville last summer. The Knoxville RAGBRAI Executive Committee also used the revenue by presenting five $1,000 grants to local non-profits who their projects and services are making an impact on the residents of Marion County.

This sign was also made possible through a design by WhiteClouds, Blane Pearson for electrical needs, and the City of Knoxville Street Shop and the Marion County Road Department for their help with the cement pad and moving the letters in place.
