Joshua Van Gorp finished this season with a 68% field goal percentage to lead the nation and earn a 2024-25 NCAA Division III statistical champion award. This is the first time in his career Van Gorp has been named a statistical champion. The Dutch center and D3hoops.com first team All-American averaged a career high 23.5 points, ranking seventh in the nation, and 10.5 rebounds this past season. He also led Division III in field goals made with 226. During the season, Van Gorp set a new school and American Rivers Conference record with 26 field goals in the 75-73 win against Coe College on February 1st. He shot 26-for-36 from the field and scored 55 points. Van Gorp finished his career as a three-time NABC All-American and Central College basketball’s all-time leading scorer with 1,991 career points.
