The Simpson College baseball team earned a doubleheader sweep over Dubuque last Saturday to secure a spot in the American Rivers Conference tournament that starts today in Cedar Rapids. The Storm match up with fourth-seeded Wartburg, who Simpson started the season off winning the first game of the three-game set, but dropping the second and third, with the series win being the difference between the two in the conference standings. The winner will go against #1 Buena Vista, while the loser will still have a chance to progress in the double-elimination format. Action starts today at 11am.
