To show appreciation for Iowa’s farming community, Hy-Vee will be hosting a “Thank a Farmer Breakfast” in Knoxville on Monday. 

These free events will be held in six Iowa communities and will feature a selection of hot breakfast items, fruit, pastries, juice and coffee, and area farmers and their families can enjoy the breakfast in-store or on the go.

 “Iowa’s farmers are absolutely essential to what we do at Hy-Vee, and we wouldn’t be the company we are without our farming communities,” said Tina Potthoff, Senior Vice President of Communications at Hy-Vee. “These events are our way to show our gratitude to our customers who are part of the agricultural community during what we know is a very busy time for them. We invite all our local farmers and their families to stop in on Monday to have breakfast on us before they start their day.”

 This is the start to a series of events that Hy-Vee will be hosting in communities across Iowa this spring and summer. The breakfast will be served from 7:00 am – 10:00 am.
