The Employee Recognition Committee for the City of Newton will be hosting the fourth Annual Employee ‘Picnic’ at the Maytag Park Pavilion on Friday, May 23rd. Newton Mayor Evelyn George says that during the event, city employees will be presented special employee years of service awards. 

“We want to recognize our employees for all that they do to serve our citizens.”

The picnic will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 23rd, and will include activities by the City of Newton’s Wellness Committee.
