
The Pella Christian girls tennis team begins postseason play on Monday, while five other Eagles spring sports teams will continue regular season action.
The Pella Christian girls tennis team opens their postseason journey at Pella’s Caldwell Park, competing in the regional state singles and doubles qualifier. Joining the Tulip City girls tennis teams at Pella’s Tennis Courts will be athletes from Albia, Chariton, Des Moines Hoover, Newton, North Polk, Oskaloosa, and Saydel.
Continuing regular season play, the Eagles boys golf, boys and girls track and field, and boys and girls soccer teams are also in action Monday. The Eagles boys golf team wraps up regular season action with the final Little Hawkeye Conference meet at Newton’s Westwood Golf Course. The boys and girls track and field teams are also set to conclude their regular season action Monday, competing at the Pella Coed Meet. Pella Christian’s soccer teams kick-off the final week of the regular season Monday, with the girls hosting Central Iowa United for senior night, while the boys travel to Chariton.
The regional state singles and doubles qualifier for the Eagles girls tennis team starts at 9 am, followed by the boys golf meet at 1 pm. The Pella Coed Track meet is slated to begin at 4:30 pm, while both soccer matches are the last scheduled events to begin at 5:30 pm.
